Edwin Torres was born and raised in the district and as he says "a lot of the friends I grew up with are in jail now. I put some of them there." I was not disapointed.

The only drawback I could find for this book was the big size of the edition, since it wasn't as convenient to carry around as it would be on a separate book for each part.

This novel is so well written that even a European reader like myself does not get intimitated by the New York slang. The plot is captivating and the heroes alive.

Those who have seen the movie can only admire the way the script has respected the spirit of the book. And those who haven't will still feel as though the images come alive on every sentence.

carlito's way and after hours two great books by edwin torres if you like organized crime mixed with funny characters this is the book for you. in the books we get to see a different carlito brigante than the one in movie a more cold blooded carlito brigante this book is filled with crime,passion,fun and death this one has it all if you are into the movie you'll like the book better trust me

Good. But don't buy both Chilton and Haynes

This manual has been helpful in the short time that I've had it. It doesn't have quite everything that I was hoping for, but it does have most of what I need and I'm glad to have it. I'm sure that I will use it on many occasions. Just a friendly note: Don't buy the Chilton manual AND the Haynes manual. They are both written and published by the same people and the manuals are almost, if not exactly, identical. I purchased both thinking that I might find that one had information the other did not. I was wrong and just wasted the money on the second book. Get one and you'll be happy.

Excellent coverage

I purchased a used one and it was in excellent shape. Also, the Chilton's manual has excellent coverage for the Camry 1997-2001 repairs. In some areas, it better than DIY Alldata online one and more organized. The cost for Alldata is $12.95 per vehicle per year. I use the Chilton with Alldata and Goggle online to aid me with repairs on vehicles. I feel that the more information you have on a vehicle repair, the easier and successful the outcome.

Excellent treatise on Otolaryngology

Excellent treatise on Otolaryngology. Very didactic and concise, and also the easiest to study among the classical works on the subject (Papparella, Cummings and so on) This edition includes as a novelty the information about scientific evidence of tests and therapies. From a physical point of view, it is divided in three thick volumes, a little difficult to handle. I prefer the six friendly volumes of the previous editions.

A Nice Reference

Arrived about 20 days earlier that what Amazon had predicted, good for me,
unfortunately it was not packed for traveling long distances, so one book was a little damaged on the cover corners,

I really like the way chapters are organized, it is used "Evidence Scoring" a hierarchical system to indicate the level of evidence supporting their statements, so it's easier for further research.
Everything is detailed and up to date, the illustrations are very good, which is rare for this kind of book, in fact you would not need any atlas to work with this Reference.
As a drawback lets say that it could be better edited, definitely not the right choice for residents,

Kostka is now a University of Texas Professor Emeritus, and resides in northwest Massachusetts.�

TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS

I think it's a pretty good book. I'm in my 4th semester of conservatory-level theory and we needed to get this book for our section on post-tonal music. I mean, I don't see why you'd really wanna buy it unless you have to for a class. If I didn't have all this music experience, I'd probably not get much at all from the text.

TOO EXPENSIVE, THOUGH!!!!! I seriously paid $110 dollars for a skinny paperback book :(

Lucky Bastard doesn't even begin to describe it. I would give my left arm to be in his position !!
Beautifully written and so descriptive you can imagine yourself there. Anne is genuinely one very talented writer. I can't give either the author or the story a higher accolade.

An excellent introduction to Coach Rye

Damn this was good!
Since I know that there is more to come with - at the least Coach Rye - this is a great introduction both to the characters and the concept of a 'first time sub'.
The story has delicious pacing, I could taste anticipation and the step by step building towards more explicit, hotter scenes.
The background just deep enough to develop but not overshadow the 'now', and the character descriptions titilate in enough details without resorting to inches and cup sizes.
Annie's gradual introduction into submission was full of realism - including some mistakes and amusing assumptions. The story could even be used as a bit of an 'intro to BDSM', including the 'what not to do' as well as the 'what to do'.
Nevertheless Annie's excitement was contagious and her submissive attitude was compelling and erotic - just ask the Coach!
The relationship that stutter-steps from a high-school crush to this erotic random encounter feels genuine and only adds to the intensity felt by both the characters and myself, adding another layer that took this from 4 to 5 stars.
I'm off to grab the next book in the series!

Fantasy fulfillment in all the right ways!

At first I was nervous reading that the main character was basically cheating on her husband with a childhood crush, but Lois does an excellent job of explaining the agreement the main character has with her husband. Different time zone? Have fun, and then tell me the dirty story. HOT, right?!

That's the premise of the book but Annie doesn't expect to sit down on the plane next to the sexy gymnastics coach shed known when she was younger. The same one she had once tried to throw herself at, but he'd refused because she was only 18. Sexy, gallant, and... dominant?

The scenes with them on the airplane are panty melting hot and it only gets BETTER when they play at the hotel. The end is fantastic too because Annie's explorations only serve to strengthen her marriage and although Rye enjoys his time with her he knows she's going home to her husband, the lucky bastard.
